All Pike Poles have a round fiberglass handle with a plastic core for added stability, maximum strength, and minimum weight.  Our handle is custom made for us rather than an "off-the-shelf" tube.  The outside diameter of the handle is 1-1/4".  The head is attached to the handle with spring pins and epoxy.
